Decisions are bridges that can carry us to a place beyond our wildest dreams, should we let them.

We’re faced with pivotal moments by the second. We don’t know that they’re pivotal, but they are. To pivot is to move but slightly. The choices we make are pivots that move us or don’t. Not choosing is still a choice and so we remain stagnant. When we choose, we know not what we move towards only away from. At times, we can have inclinations, but the reality is that we have no understanding of the weight of each and every decision we make. Should we turn right or left? Say yes or no? Often minute, these decisions are bridges that can carry us to a place beyond our wildest dreams, should we let them.

This fearlessness allows us to flow in our journey to becoming without external disparagement or delay.

There’s a problem with our decision making. For many of us, when considering what we are going to do, we include external forces. We are groomed by society to think as sheep. We are born with a wanting, an innate calling. Yet as we grow, that calling is quieted by the herdsman that scream what their reason and convention until our thoughts become muted by their voices. We become convinced that each bridge we come to should be faced with fear should we choose to cross it without their permission.
